Glamour with a mouth on it

Amaya Sexton has been painting, padding and pageanting out of Dayton, Ohio since 2008 — Miss Gay Ohio USofA 2015, Dayton’s Best Drag Queen 2019, and a resident favorite from Masque and MJ’s on Jefferson to Piranha in Las Vegas.

These days the stage is also a phone. Every night she goes live for a family that shows up in the thousands — for the jokes, the beat, the Mental Health Monday check-ins and the reminder that we’re all on our own journey.

She’s also a voice actress. The impressions are half the show — a whole cast of characters she can drop into mid-sentence — and that same range books her for voice work off the stage.
